I grew up in a small town outside of Saint Petersburg. My underwater talent received international attention and in 2015 I was offered a full scholarship to Grand Canyon University. Finished the collegiate career as a multiple time NCAA All-American, 3x Athlete of the year, conference record holder, and posting the 5th fastest time in history. Following graduation I competed at the 2019 World University Games, earning silver in the 4x100 Medley Relay.
I competed in the two most recent seasons of the ISL, representing the DC Tridents. On multiple occasions I was the team’s top point scorer. In the postseason I dominated the 50 and 100 backstroke, posting a Top 3 All time world ranking in the 50m backstroke.
After having a International Swim League breakout season in 2021, I moved to the Gold Coast, Australia to live, train and discover my capabilities.
Currently, I am rediscovering swimming by looking at it from new perspectives. I am interested in learning ways of making people more effective in the water, changing their quality of movement by applying unusual strategies, like ocean sessions or sensory and emotional awareness.
I enjoy sharing the process with other people by coaching and providing insights from my career and experiences.
Swimming has been a connecting force for me over the last 20 years - to self, to nature, to local & global community.
As a member of Team USA I’ve traveled the world competing internationally against some of the best in the world, posting top 40 world rankings in sprint freestyle, backstroke and butterfly along the way. During my time as a UCLA Bruin I held school records in four individual and five relay events.
In recent years I’ve continued to diversify my experience both as a swimmer - Honu Ironman 70.3, Pailolo Channel crossing (14.1K) and coach - collegiate coaching, high performance consulting, development and lead instructor of water safety curriculum for a non-profit program serving low income Hawaiian youth.
I’m excited to share this eclectic wealth of knowledge brought together from waters around the world!
